Job Description

YOUR ROLE

The Infrastructure Program Support Officer (Construction) is a 24-month fixed-term role within the Infrastructure Delivery Team at MACS. Supporting over 300 Catholic schools, the team oversees the full infrastructure lifecycle—from master planning to project delivery and compliance. This role plays a key part in supporting the Capital Program Team, which manages around 100 active projects valued at approximately $650 million. The Support Officer provides vital process, reporting, and system support to ensure efficient project delivery and compliance, working closely with internal and external stakeholders across the infrastructure portfolio.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Lead and maintain project management systems, generating accurate project reports and documentation
  • Utilise Power BI to develop, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards to provide insights into project performance and budget status
  • Develop data collection processes and methodologies to ensure accuracy and reliability of project data
  • Coordinate project documentation and reporting, including grant acquittals, risk registers, and portfolio-level performance updates
  • Monitor capital program budgets and timelines, providing data insights and ensuring alignment with the approved infrastructure plan
  • Liaise effectively with stakeholders across all project phases and assist senior leaders

 

ABOUT YOU

  • Demonstrated experience using Power BI for data visualisation and report generation in a  large scale project management office
  • An ability to manage complex infrastructure or capital projects, including oversight of multiple workstreams, meeting deadlines, and budget management
  • Expertise in project management systems, including implementation, optimisation and generating system-based reports
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with an ability to interpret complex data sets
  • Detail orientated, with an ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Relevant qualifications in construction, contract administration, quantity surveying, engineering, or project management, supported by practical industry experience in infrastructure or capital works delivery highly preferred

 

This is a 24-month fixed-term position with the salary range is $100,000 - $138,000 per annum exclusive of superannuation and commensurate with skills and experience.
